Optimizing Structural Steel Design

For the first time in India, parallel flange sections are begging produced and made available in local markets by M/S. Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. (JSPL) With this heartening step of JSPL, the Indian scenario of available structural steel sections will undergo much better change M/s. Girdhari Agrawal & Co. well make these sections available to the local market.

Structural Engineers in our country, who strived for optimization in Structural Steel design, were so far handicapped by non- availability of these sections, which were readily available in western countries.

JSPL has taken up the challenge to produce these parallel flange sections & have set up a totally imported plant in Regard city, Chhattisgarh state, in technical collaboration with NKK of Japan at a capital cost of RS. 1,600 cores.
