The Society shall consist of members constituted by the following Categories
A – Member
B- Junior Member
C – Organisation Member
D – Institution Member
The Fees are as follows w.e.f. 01 April, 2025

Eligibility for Members
Open to any Engineer (Civil / Construction) with a degree from any recognized institution / University with a minimum of three years experience or a Diploma or equivalent qualification with a minimum of five years experience or a person having adequate years of experience in any branch of Structural Engineering.
Open to a fresh Engineers (Civil / Construction) Degree.
Diploma or equivalent qualification with three years / five years experience from the date of obtaining qualifications. He/She should become a regular member.
Open to Organisation engaged in practice / service of Structural Engineering. an aspect of Structural Engineering. The organization member is entitled to have two designated technical representatives to participate in the activities of the society.
In Eligibility of Members also including Institution members information Civil Engineering Colleges & Polytechnic Colleges also join as Institution Members with ISSE.

- Structural Design and Detailing
- Rehabilitation and retrofitting of Structures
- Computer Software
- Construction Technique and Management
- Proficiency Material Technology on concrete, steel, masonry, timber, earth, ferrocement plastic, structural glass etc.
- Geo-Tech & Foundation Engineering
- Teaching, Research & Development
- Environment Engineering
- Any other related branches
- Non Destructive Testing
